Silk peacock pillow in vintage Japanese obi silk in pink and silver. This luxury pink silk cushion is made with vintage woven silk and has a cream silk reverse.

Ethically made by upcycling a vintage Japanese obi belt (used to tie kimono) which dates from the Mid Showa period (40+ years). Each cushion comes with hand foiled tag which details it's edition number.

Peacocks (Kujaku) are associated with love, good will, nurturing and a kind heart. We will send you our Hunted and Stuffed guide to symbols in Japanese textiles FREE with every order.

The front is made from upcycled vintage Japanese obi silk which is woven with silver metallic thread. The reverse is made from upcycled vintage kimono silk in cream.

• Keep away from direct sunlight to preserve colours
• Plump regularly to maintain shape
• Store in a cool, dry place when not in use
• Never machine wash or tumble dry
• Professional textile cleaning recommended only

These cushions are made from authentic vintage Japanese silk dating from the 1930s onwards.
Each piece is unique and may show gentle signs of age - this is part of their charm and authenticity.

Returns must be:
• In original, unused condition
• In original packaging
• Accompanied by proof of purchase
• Sent via insured, tracked delivery (customer's responsibility)
