This eye-catching cushion is made by upcycling a vintage Japanese Deco obi belt (used to tie kimono) which dates from the Late Taisho/ Early Showa period (1930's) which is in stunning, pristine condition. Use plain pillows like this to add variety to a collection of patterned pillows.

The front is made from upcycled vintage Japanese obi silk. The reverse is made from upcycled vintage kimono silk in vibrant red. This vintage silk dates from the Late Taisho/ Early Showa period (80 years +) and it may have some minor signs of it's previous life.
