Metallic gold silk evening clutch bag made from vintage kimono silk circa 1970s. Gold metal clasp and chain. Wisteria and pine pattern.

HISTORY:
The basket weave pattern references bamboo in traditional Japanese textiles and symbolises good luck, happiness and prosperity. Pine represents longevity and steadfastness.

This piece is an original vintage piece dating from the Late-Showa Period (1970s). The exterior condition is excellent. The inside is in excellent condition.  This item is over 40 years old.
