A purple and silver silk floral vintage Obi cushion with peony embroidery ethically made by upcycling a vintage Japanese obi belt (used to tie kimono) dating from the Mid-Showa period.

The front is made from upcycled vintage Japanese obi silk which is woven with real gilt thread. The reverse is made from upcycled vintage kimono silk in cream.
Each cushion comes with hand foiled tag which details its edition number. Each cushion is unique and has a slightly different pattern placement.
