These amazing vintage textiles are upcycled from a vintage Uchikake wedding kimono dating from the Mid-Showa period (over 40 years old).
Cranes (Tsuru) believed to live for a thousand years and inhabit the land of the immortals. Symbolise longevity and good fortune. A pair represent a happy marriage. You will receive a FREE Hunted and Stuffed guide to symbols in Japanese textiles with your order.
The pillows are strengthened and protected inside by a cotton lining, each cushion is fully over-locked and sewn with a concealed zip at the base for easy removal. Luxurious subtly striped gold velvet is used on the reverse to compliment the vintage silks.
Each cushion is hand made in the UK and comes with it's own foiled tag that details the date and origin of each beautiful textile.

International Shipping: We ship worldwide. Rates calculated at checkout based on destination and insurance value required.

All cushions are carefully packaged and dispatched from our UK studio within 1-2 working days.

• Never machine wash or tumble dry
• Professional textile cleaning recommended only
These cushions are made from authentic vintage Japanese silk dating from the 1930s onwards.
Each piece is unique and may show gentle signs of age - this is part of their charm and authenticity.
We want you to love your purchase. If you're not completely satisfied, you can return your item within 30 days of delivery for a full refund.
Returns must be:
• In original, unused condition
• In original packaging
• Accompanied by proof of purchase
• Sent via insured, tracked delivery (customer's responsibility)

Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility unless the item is faulty or incorrect.
