Vintage Japanese metallic gold silk envelope clutch bag. Circa 1970's with shippo and cloud pattern.

HISTORY:
Shippo is an infinitely repeating circular design representing the seven jewels or treasures from the Buddhist Sutras. This piece is an original vintage piece dating from the Late-Showa Period (1970’s). The exterior condition is very good. Interior condition also very good. Excellent condition for an item over 40 years old!
