A handmade vintage tartan grey wool cushion COVER made with upcycled mid century vintage Gannex fabric and grey wool sourced from the now demolished Kagan Textiles mill in Yorkshire.
The 'Duke', a limited edition of only 25, is named after the Duke of Edinburgh (Prince Phillip), who gave the Royal Warrant to Gannex by ordering their coats from Harrods for himself, the Queen and her corgis. Each has an individually numbered and hand stamped label, and is made with thick, grey vintage wool on one side and Gannex tartan on the other so you can choose which side to display.
Measuring 43cm x 43cm and fully lined on the inside with black cotton, the cushion has overlocked seams and a concealed zip and will take a pad insert of 18" x 18".
Vintage: approx 1960's
The photo depicts the label for the cushion marked 1/25. You will receive a randomly selected edition number.
Also available with a luxury Yorkshire made feather pad (ethically sourced).
