Luxury gold silk cushion with woven design of gold silver ocean waves made with upcycled vintage Japanese silk. This beautiful 'Hokusai' inspired upcycled obi pillow is perfect for that 'boho glam' style and has a pale cream silk reverse.

Ethically made by upcycling a vintage Japanese obi belt (used to tie kimono) which dates from the Mid Showa period (40+ years). Each cushion comes with hand foiled tag which details it's edition number.
Bamboo (Take) symbolises security as it is resilient on the face of high winds and heavy rains. It is also known as one of the ‘Three Friends of Winter’ along with pine and plum.

The front is made from upcycled vintage Japanese obi silk which is woven with real gilt thread. The reverse is made from upcycled vintage kimono silk in cream.
