A striking metallic accent cushion with pale and deep gold hexagons. Handmade with upcycled vintage kimono obi silk fabric and hand-stitched with a feather insert.

This beautiful, rare throw cushion with metallic accents really catches the light. Use to create light and texture in your decor or as an easy swap in to explore the current metallics trend. There are only two made so would make a truly unique gift or treat. Comes with hand foiled tag which details it's edition number.

Ethically produced by upcycling/repurposing vintage silk originally from a Japanese Obi belt, used to tie Kimono.

The front is made from upcycled vintage Japanese obi silk which is woven with real gilt thread. The reverse is made from upcycled vintage kimono silk.

This vintage silk dates from the Mid Showa period (40 years +) and may have some minor signs of it's previous life. Professional cleaning recommended.

The cushion is hand sewn with a high quality feather and down pad included.
