A vintage silk pillow in pink and silver metallic embroidery with peacock design in gold gilt thread.
This eye-catching cushion is made by upcycling a vintage Japanese Deco obi belt (used to tie kimono) which dates from the Late Taisho/ Early Showa period (1930's) which is in stunning, pristine condition.

The front is made from upcycled vintage Japanese obi silk which is woven with real gilt thread. The reverse is made from upcycled vintage kimono silk. This vintage silk dates from the Late Taisho/ Early Showa period (80 years +) and it may have some minor signs of it's previous life.
