Silk kimono cushion in ivory and pink floral pattern made with upcycled vintage Japanese obi.
This rectangular throw pillow with oriental flowers pattern in silk with woven silver thread would make a fabulous eco gift. Hand-stitched with feather insert. Ethically produced by upcycling/repurposing vintage silk originally from a Japanese Obi belt, used to tie Kimono.

The front is made from upcycled vintage Japanese obi silk which is woven with real gilt thread. The reverse is made from upcycled vintage kimono silk.
The vintage silk dates from the Mid Showa period (40 years +) and may have some minor signs of it's previous life.
The cushion is hand sewn with a high quality feather and down pad included.
Comes with hand foiled tag which details it's edition number. Only 2 made.
